Why would emmitt tell his wife he fukked lala??? That's just adding drama to his situation he don't need. Plus it was prior to them getting married.

If I had to guess it would be to display his growth as a person. He has a conscience now and is wracked with guilt over his actions. However on next week's episode he appears to be getting dome on the couch he shares with his wife and son. So much for growth Really shytty writing. The wife give u a hall pass to slide some thotties and u bring them to the crib? This nikka can't afford a telly? Why Jake ain't staying with Douda again? All because he saw Douda flip on a random goofy? It doesn't seem like he particularly cares for Trig. Stay in the mayor's dope penthouse while running thru private school PAWGS This nikka Trig and Big Mike running around making house calls I know they killed off Reg's character but the writers really need to dig back into the gangsta shyt. Too much gang activity in the Chi for it not to make it into the show. At least it seems they're headed that way with the Nook character.

This show would have been alot better if it wasn't called the CHI. Like where is all the chicago lingo and flavor? Like common disappeared for years

Lena should write some scenes for Korporate to give the show that real Chicago flavor. A few scenes with Korp & Darnell would give the show a less somber feel.

While I'm glad that Kev' isn't protected by OD plot armor, I hate to see him go through all this trauma and never really get the chance to address it (it's clearly designed to showcase the pitfalls of not confronting potentially debilitating mental health issues, but I was hoping for some type of reprieve eventually.). It doesn't help that the character has regressed tremendously altogether.

Also he's about to learn a rather hard lesson at the hands of his main homeboy--shout out to poppa, but my man is essentially just working on his podcast, simpin', and cashing checks at this point (a young Coli bruh in the making )-- and his rather annoying first love.

Jit is gone be a whole savage when this is said and done.

So many of the plots were tied to him.

This show is basically the Lakers after losing A.D.


Except for the occasional press conference, we never see Douda performing any mayoral duties. Where the hell is his staff?

I understand the production budget limitations, but damn.

Lena Waithe does not know how to write in a way that the characters feel natural.. .everyone on this show is basically a variation of Lena and they talk like she does..
