it's funny how much that pregnancy test is being called out. like the writers couldn't do 10 mins of research to know that's part of rape analysis, especially someone who been kidnapped for two months? they thought their audience would just be like "oh, ok"

that was the case at the end of last season. but poppa has become a caricature of what once was a charming kid, they can't decide whether to make jake a super thug or regular kid, PMS kevin got annoying + his girl is unlikable and they made emmet the most disloyal POS fukk up. just do a spinoff of brandon's cousin

The issue with Jake’s character is that they neutered the fukk out of Douda’s character. You feared his character and he barely lifted a finger and the closest he came to that depiction this season was the scene when Jake walks in with his sneakers. Last season’s Douda woulda made it so that Jake couldn’t do shyt besides work and do homework. That whole Trig/Jake storyline just doesn’t lead to anything.
Kevin’s character is the most realistic one. He’s doing all the shyt kids his age get into. If he acts like a whiny bytch it’s because kids his age tend to act that way. ain’t no father around to check him, so that’s why Emmett means so much even though he can’t get right either.
Poppa definitely is an exaggerated version of his old character. Poppa shoulda been disillusioned as fukk by what he’s seeing with the church and politics. Shoulda used that Ronnie conversion storyline on Poppa. The finale woulda been like Poppa walking into Common’s church or his pops finding the Qu’ran in his room. Then his character has depth. Right now he’s just that DJ from 8 Mile

i may not be remembering correctly, but she said that to/in front of her fam, but no way a hospital doesn't examine for that stuff when a girl has been held by a man for months. but given the quality of writers on this show, i'm sure that's their "out" for this hole
