Jerricka left before he was fired, I don’t miss her as she only mattered because of him
Reg was gonna live or die based in his decision to be with a tranny, that wasn’t a Jason thing
Sonja was only meant to be a recurring character in season 1, she had been gone before him - brandon was basically hanging with his step pops all last season

all of that ain’t on his character being written off, just this show being stupid. If anything they should’ve still brought trig in for the tranny line and let reg live as well, have them team up get Jake back and revenge on Douda. They didn’t have to boot reg because he wasn’t gonna be the one with a tranny

Jason was a domino effect for nearly every one of those characters. There’s a chance the Reg isn’t written off like that if Jason doesn’t do what he did.

Nah, if he really had reg back, he would’ve let a war pop off. Not just give up his guy, it’s on Douda that the muscle in the org wasn’t put behind reg

Exactly
Especially since Reg big bro can show up and murk dude and nothing happens. Its like was this the nikka Douda was afraid of. :hhh:

Jerricka, sure, the rest, no. How does Jason leaving affect Reg? They were going to bring him back had he agreed to be with the tranny, that has nothing to do with Jason

You dont remember Dooda sitting with the leader and offering money to fix Reg's move on the Wild Boyz cause Reg was raising his younger brother?
That did happen but he also was mad with the way Reg was moving which is why he had reason to put a hit out on him and that's what made him confront him in that scene with him by the car. I thought there was even some foreshadowing with the way he embraced Jake and told Reg that Jake was the future in that scene with them in the pizza shop. To me it was clear Douda was thinking either to kill Reg so that way he could avoid a war and keep making money or to get behind Reg with muscle and defend him out of loyalty.

  • Did they make a weird time lapse, so Keisha gives Kevin something to remember her by his last birthday before she was even going off to college - given she’s supposedly on her way to college this season/before she got kidnapped. Was this year her senior year? Or was it summer before her freshman year of college?
It was the summer before her going off to start her freshman year of college. That's why in the first episode this season you see Emmet telling her Goodbye and things like that.

I'm guessing that was a flashback from Kev's prior birthday before her senior year of highschool. She knew she was going away to college the next year after her senior year was done so it was her having a convo with him about it.

That was actually true? Cause there’s a vid of Reg himself saying that wasn’t the case at all (though there’s probably no chance he admits something like that anyway due to backlash). But let’s say that is true, that still makes 5 other characters directly affected by Brandon’s absence.

I told y’all Emmitt needs to go

Why would he do that to Sonny? :dahell:

I get that Emmitt is basically can’t get right number 2 behind Brandon, but ambitious with the hustler’s mentality. But now this how this nikka going to do his surrogate father? The same Sonny who looked out on multiple occasions. The same Sonny who gave him gems that helped him get ass from his girl, after his real pops had him in panic mode. Damn Sonny just can’t ride off gracefully huh, another casualty, huh, Lena??

Nah, it was clear Douda knew he had to give reg to the rival gang, dint care about this show enough to point out the episode or scene, but it was clear reg was a goner by way of Douda when he pulled up on reg and reg was asking about still being valuable or some shyt to the org

I said some pages back, it’s pretty much the Avon-Stringer season 3. Douda basically gave him up because it was a hassle to keep Reg around, why get a war going when you can groom his younger bruh without basically having to manage a loose cannon by cleaning up street shyt while navigating the political realm? Even the way Reg got murked appeared Wire influenced.

Exactly

Strange in itself, that it appears the opps don’t want any get back it all or completely clueless about their boss last meeting with Douda. But then again I guess that element will go unanswered and disappear and become nonexistent like the law enforcement aspect.

Came in to say this. Douda offered money and dude was like "Nah" . He didnt put a hit on Reg like Avon didn't put a hit on Stringer. They let it happen for the sake of business.
The Final scene with Reg was just him putting things in play to raise Jake because he knew Reg was outta here.

I do see what others are saying because thus far it's only been implied that Douda gave the order to have Reg killed. Not exactly the case and is another plot hole.

Watched the latest episode and I was laughing my ass off when that breh was doing is monologue while cutting Keisha's hair.:mjlol:

It cut from that scene to breh polishing a gun.

This episode should titled "Black men aint shyt".

They got the mothers even telling them "they aint shyt".
Even the kids aint shyt. Pappa dropping the cake.

I am convince the people who write this show are white or white adjacent.

This show is for the white gaze brehs. :francis:
