The one constant is a shytty Ronnie plotline

Because he's a an old sorry ass nikka... that's the point. There are no positive black men in Lena's version of Chicago...even the youngin's catch strays in the writing now that she's returned...,it's the women who have to save the "nikkas" from themselves. :mjlol:

I'd be all for it if it had some sense of reality in it but it doesn't... every [straight] dude in the show is just a sorry excuse to exist and needs guidance. from others who arn't ment... who constantly shyt on them. LOL

This show is not making sense. How are all three kids in prep school now?

How does Emmitt not know how to make Chicken? Or at least make the stuff Brandon was making?

How did he have the keys to the Chicken Joint? Why doesn't he continue being a manager there? I thought the owner retired after having a heart attack.

I swear the only reason I am watching this is because there is nothing else on.

For the breh who said this is some white liberal bullshyt (I agree) and the breh who made the comment about hypersexuality, I agree with you too. It is like this show is made for the white gaze.

I'm not sure if Poppa is in prep school, but if he is, so what? Kids change schools all the time.

Emmitt stayed fukking up in the restaurant and the food truck.

The show has no direction whatsoever. From season 1, to 2, to 3 the dynamic of the show changes too dramatically.

Show hasn;t really changed minus the fatboy and i Never liked fatboy anyway. Reg was cool but he was reckless.

People love to bytch to bytch. First ep they cried why Kev wasn't in prep school, now it's why are all of them in prep school
It's called continuity, and this show is bad at it. They had a whole dramatic storyline of Kevin having a mental crisis about the private school from not wanting to tell his mom about the pamphlet his teacher gave him, to the season ending with the chubby girl giving him words of wisdom, finally pushing him over the top to go to the school. They put emphasis on that storyline, even having him get caught selling drugs to illustrate he wasn't being challenged at the public school.

When the next season premieres and all 3 of them are going there with no explanation it looks cheap

Your argument has nothing to do with continuity. Kev was going to private school. Douba took in Jake, but somehow you think he'd remain in public school? I'm not sure if Poppa is in priavte school, but if he is, it's not that big of a stretch to assume he asked his parents could he go to school with his friends. Time actually moves on this show unlike a certain popular showed that remained in the same timeframe for 7 years.
