For a show I repeatedly call out as struggling with plot/storytelling, they gave me absolutely nothing this episode. Not an ounce of this shyt leading anywhere other than Jonny Gill trying to get his bro back. And there are more ways to writes off a character than kill them. They should’ve given Brandon a better exit

poppa need to lose them titties, I knew that chick was gonna have a strap on , did Keisha get kidnapped? They showed her phone on the ground at the bus stop. Also, does the actor who plays Jake have vitiligo?

His send off was hilarious. I couldn't help but laugh at that photo and that small ass casket.

To me, the casket was symbolic of that dumbass nicca killing his career.

Or they could have put the character in WITSEC or something

I see this episode as an introduction to the season, so I'm not gonna criticize too much. But the volume on the gay/tranny shyt definitely needs to get turned back down. Only reason to devote that much time to Kevin's mom and step-mom is if they're part of the main cast now.

Was the plan always to kill Reg? Last season ended with his outcome being questionable. I thought we were just gonna see him in a wheel chair or something.

And last but not least, you mean to tell me that not only did Trig find out who killed Reg but also setup a meeting between the killer and Douda? wtf? A little too nonsensical, but like I said i'mma give the season a few more episodes.

I'm glad they didn't "Aunt Viv" Jason, but when he got fired, that ruined a bunch of other popular characters. Brandon's mom, stepdad, cousin, and Jerrica are all off the show now because of Jason. Jason Mitchell's a great actor, but he ruined a lot of people's money.

I like The Chi but this show ain't short of its corny scenes....the kids interactions annoy me a lot....real talk i'm really tuning in this season to see Khandi's sex scene....

Lena loves pushing the gay shyt all on this show. First the corny strap on scene and now the treh with Luke James.

That funeral scene hit hard and Sonja Sohn did an excellent job.

The three boys and Emmett are my favorite characters on the show. They remind me of my younger years.


I still don't see the point in Ronnie's character.

I really hope they don't kill Keisha, she's too fine and she going off to Cali for college.
