I assume she will serve as the centerpiece for a potential conflict between Q and Mayor Douda, to which one of them will have to go . Just the Q retcon in general. It seems like they brought him back in the mix as a Hail Mary effort to appease the heads that were disappointed with how everything ended for Brandon, Reg, and Q. Brandon and Reg are not coming back, so that leaves Q. I guess Q also keeps the street element going as well.

Not that i subscribe to it but i do find it funny how they made a joke out of it in the show, you can tell who’s writing the show and who’s bothered by it.

Also, maybe it was just me but, in the earlier seasons, they made it seem like Q was under Douda or not powerful enough to pull rank on Douda. Q was searching for Jason’s killer and not one time did he go press Douda for information or that big jaw darkskin nikka that shot Jason when he should have. Q was acting like he was one of those old nikkas from that BET Original Gangsters movie that was no longer in touch with what the new young gang members were doing. Now, they showing him as the HNIC and telling Douda what to do Where was that energy at before?
