Thinking of putting this show on hold and binge watching it when all the episodes drop.

I have plenty other Sh to watch and keep up with anyway

I would advise the same. Jason’s antics really nuked this show. No Brandon, no Jerrika, apparently no Cruz or Toussiant, and the introduction of 5-6 new characters. That is appalling and unheard of. This is something that happens in the backend of a lengthy series, not the SECOND season. Lena is clearly putting some of her personal life in this show and it’s not subtle in the slightest.

I have it on my hard drive, but I never watched it.
And is that because 2 prominent characters being homosexual?
Omar and kima weren't put on the wire to meet some gay quota though and they served a purpose. This tranny is only on the show so lena can say she supports trannies.
And you know this how?

I will say Omar and Kima's characters were "different" because they were prominent in all the seasons and properly tied to all the story lines. Yes the show would have been just as successful if those characters were heterosexual, but as I mentioned before I do feel representation is important. With the Chi it appears characters are thrown in with no real tie to the backstories, which are already missing because Jason is no longer on the show. Just makes it unnecessarily complicated.

Then that's a writing flaw, not the evils of the "agenda".

Nah, just never gotten around to seeing it :what:

Edit: oh wait...Omar and the light skinned dude who was tortured and killed. Yeah I remember them. It wasn’t in your face...even though they had a cuddle scene....and in that scene Omar’s homeboy looked disgusted....Omar not a central character...he was a villain and his bf was murdered thus it wasn’t prominent to the plot. I watched bits and pieces of it, not the entire series

Breh the murder of Omar's boyfriends character drove Omar in every season up until his death not to mention the introductions of other boyfriends.

I dont really care either way but don't have an opinion on shyt you never saw.
