Whats funny is they say lebron made the right basketball play when he passed to korver.

What someone else pointed out on the Ryan Russillo show is that the 5 seconds before that was bad basketball. He had an angle to drive right, instead he tried to break down and all-world defender and failed, then dumped it off.

Yeah it was a good move, but he had a better one. And sometimes the right basketball move isnt the best option, i mean KD down by 2 just pulls up in transition on the "best player" and drains a 3 in his face.

Perfect example of "the good basketball play" aka lebron vs playing "hero ball" aka Kobe

Everything lebron stans been arguing is being disproven by their kang :mjlol:
And Kobe's reputation for being a clutch finals performer is unsubstantiated. His teams typically won so people imagine that he was making clutch shots down the stretch to secure those wins. Theres a reason those statements are never accompanied with YouTube clips.

Green was already working on that as he left Oracle Arena after that gutting Game 7 loss. Green sat in his car in the parking and called Myers, telling him he had to sign Durant. "It's on you," Green told Myers.

Green hung up, stayed in the parking lot, and made another call -- to Durant. "That was my very next call," Green said. Two weeks later, Durant signed a maximum contract that put him in a Golden State uniform for at least one season, with several more seasons likely to come.

"If we win the championship, I'm like 99 percent sure we don't get him," Green said. "There are silver linings to everything."

What were your thoughts on the officiating in Game 3 @GoddamnyamanProf ?
Didnt watch it

I got tagged by your fanbase crying about the officials, which is hilarious. I'm guessing they actually called a few moving screens and jersey grabs - how unfair! Don't tell me they called defensive 3 seconds :merchant: How is Golden State supposed to compete if they have to follow the same rules as everyone else?! :damn:

Exactly. They want him to have a wide open shooter in the corner so he'll pass to the uncovered shooter and then for the shooter to miss so they can criticize him for passing to an open shooter for 3 instead of shooting a long 2 through a double team. It's been this way since 2007 against Detroit.

The thing you have to remember about prisoner of the moment situation or armchair analysts are that NO MATTER what the outcome, they will have something negative to say regardless. If he drives and doesn't get the foul on Draymond and missing (which you can tell he really didnt have lift a few plays before with drive by curry and they way he tried to finish the layup) the will cry out he not clutch etc, never mind the whole time Durant is doing the two step in and out the paint shadowing it. He or anyone really in that situation is going to be crucified if the result isn't positive, even then a narrative would be made.

TYRONE GA!
Y'all just need to appreciate the beauty of it for a second. The Golden State Warriors were trash. TRASH. ALWAYS TRASH. Some of you young cats can't remember back that far but they were always nobodies in the Western Conference. They had an 11 year stretch of winning 38 games or less from 1995 to 2006 :francis: Outside of the 2008 season they were always garbage for as long as I been alive. Then they draft Steph, Klay, Dray. Sign Livingston, Igoudala and become the best team by far in the NBA. Then they add KD and it's a wrap. If you told me back in 2005, they'd be the most dominant team in the NBA, I'd laugh in your face. But here we are. The other teams around the league have no excuse. OKC could've had what GS has now if they didn't trade away Harden. KD probably would've stayed. They'd have KD, Westbrook & Harden. shyt would be unfair. Golden State put this team together through good drafting and development with a little bit of help from Steph getting injured earlier on in his career but either way if a trash team like Golden State can go from nobodies to the dominant squad, then there's no more excuses for other teams.

Watch the clip again -

Curry clearly baited LeBron into passing. He identified Korver was in the corner, and purposefully positioned himself on the inside of Love, the moment that LeBron drove into the paint he rolled right off Love before LeBron even passed the ball - because he knew LeBron was gonna pass it. He was right there the moment Korver caught it. He most definitely wasn't trying to go for the swipe. It was a helluva play from him.

How can you not love basketball & the game within the game :wow:
