Love is an "ain't my fault" all star this series though. His rebounding has definitely been great for the Cavs.

But who we really need to be shyttin on is Tristan. Bron got him paid and this is how he returns the favor? :scust:
I said it earlier that he's been as bad as Joel Anthony was for the Heat in the 2011 finals, and he was so useless that Dirk basically got to ignore him all series long and just shade over as a help defender to close off the lane and spend all his energy on offense. shyt is unreal after how hard he played on the glass each of the last two years. If he showed up at all they probably win last night and maybe the first two games are close at the end.

Sports analysis is fickle like that. Korver's one job is to shoot and he is one of the all time great shooters and you're here acting like it was stupid he was even getting a shot...just because he missed.

The same thing would be happening with Durant.

I think the rub here is that although LeBron may a smart basketball play, people wanted to see him takeover in the final minutes. Especially when you're considered to be the best player in the world with the game literally hanging in the balance.

At least Love can give you something else when his shot isn't falling. :yeshrug:

But back to Tristan, he gotta be gone next season. Curry had more rebounds last night than him the whole series combined so far :scust:

:hubie:Now hear me out..

LeBron did the right thing by not getting all up in KD at the 3pt line. Durant is just so good and unique that if Bron had done so, he would've blown by him and dunked it in. So LeBron's thinking was that he would save the easy dunk and let KD take the lower percentage shot.

It was pretty much a "Damned if you do, Damned if you don't" situation because even when Bron actually did get up in KD's space in the earlier games, KD still shot over him like he shot over him today...and made the shots:mindblown:.

There's literally just no guarding the man. You could guard Jordan by making him takes 3's, but this nikka:snoop:..

Nobody can guard him. Kobe can't and Jordan can't. They're just fortunate enough to have never had a player at their position be anywhere near as good as KD to shyt on them. Kobe had Mcgrady, but he stayed injured and Jordan....:francis:...maybe that nikka had someone on the Poker Tables, but as for on the court:mjlol:

Matter of fact, I think Dominique dropped 40 on Jordan. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Holding a scorer to 2 points > holding a scorer to 3 points, and yes Durant is better than Bron, that's the point. Durant had Bron shook he didn't know what to do, so he backed off and just tried not to got posterized, yet he still got posterized :francis: Get up on the man, force him to his weak hand. Gotta play to win :francis:

He can't bully real seven footers plain and simple

Plus he's only 6'8

his contract is an albatross. No one is taking that. To bad the NBA got rid of the amnesty clause.

He already conceded the three. I'm saying don't concede the three. He gave up ground to the point he was already behind the three point line before KD pulled up. In fact, KD said the only reason he pulled up is because Bron was already behind the line. You're talking about how he contested the shot.....I'm talking about taking that option off the table all together.

But that is how LeBron described it. I think he was just simply more comfortable trying to contest the three than to be too close to him. I definitely agree with you that he gave too much ground.

They'd have to move him in hopes of getting a rim protector, but those don't grow on trees. Funny thing is if whiteside shows up a year earlier, he's got the center he's been looking for his entire career. Thompson is a glorified 90's power forward who can't shoot but it wouldn't have been noticed since back then you'd have to guard him since illegal defense was still a thing.

My goddamn self. Shout out to my real Africans
This thread is trash. That was WOAT defense being played at a crucial time.

Bron should have been in KDs face like Iggy was when he stripped the ball from Bron.

You don't let a shooter of KDs Calibur walk the ball up and shoot a three in rhythm like that.

That was as bad as Kyrie's dumb ass step back three pointer on Klay.

Just bad bball IQ all around for the defending champions. Again, WOAT thread.

the cavs defense as a whole is laughable bad. Lue should be fired, but lebron putting these guys together deserve blame as well. How do NBA level players continue to make mistakes defensively all game

The way LeBron described it, he didn't want KD to "jump into him" while shooting the three to possibly draw a foul. So he gave him space so that he could contest the shot safely. He was willing to take that gamble but unfortunately for him, KD made the shot.

At the very least Lebron has to be closer up on him to throw off his rhythm instead of just letting KD walk up in to a three pointer. Most great shooters can knock that down if you can walk up uninterrupted. When he's that far off of him KD already has it in his head that he's going to shoot that. Give him something to think about.
