LeBron did the right thing by not getting all up in KD at the 3pt line.
Durant is just so good and unique that if Bron had done so, he would've blown by him and dunked it in. So LeBron's thinking was that he would save the easy dunk and let KD take the lower percentage shot.
It was pretty much a "Damned if you do, Damned if you don't" situation because even when Bron actually did get up in KD's space in the earlier games, KD still shot over him like he shot over him today...and made the shots

Nobody can guard him. Kobe can't and Jordan can't. They're just fortunate enough to have never had a player at their position be anywhere near as good as KD to shyt on them. Kobe had Mcgrady, but he stayed injured and Jordan....
