Stephen A saying CLE needs an elite playmaking small forward :what:

Also, why does CLE blowing a number one pick in Anthony Bennett never come up?

To be fair that was one of the weakest drafts in NBA history. For reference, these were the top 5 picks:

Anthony Bennett, Victor Oladipo, Otto Porter Jr., Cody Zeller and Alex Len.

NONE of these guys would've helped Cleveland win a title this year, maybe Otto, but doubtful.

C.J. McCollum and Giannis are going to be the only all-stars that were in that draft and just about everyone missed on those 2 guys.

The roller coaster ride that Bron's stans put themselves through leading up to these Finals has truly been something to watch.

Cavs dominating B and C list level teams in the Eastern Conference coming into the Finals with a 12-1 record had all of them like :gladbron:... it's LIT

A collective of Bron Stans thoughts prior, during and now after the Finals...
-Steph Curry don't want no smoke with Kyrie
-Kyrie owns Steph
-Lebron owns KD, Lebron is KD's father
-Don't matter that KD on the Warriors, he's a beta and he'll fold against Lebron like always
***AFTER GAME 3***
-MJ never played a team like this GSW team
-Cavs came back from being down 1-3 last year tho
-Lebron averaging a triple double tho
-Cavs in 7

All in all, I'm so glad this series is over. Didn't want to see it get dragged any further than it already been.

2 day breaks between damn near every game was :trash:

Now we can get on to much more interesting shyt like where players move to and what happens on Draft Night. Was literally getting tired of all the narratives that this series gave life to
Nothing but truth.

Class was weak and no one would ever pick Giannis with the numnber 1.

But CLE had a number one in kyrie as soon as bron left. Another number one in Bennett who was a bust. And took a risk on another possible number one (even tho he was 2) w/ Wiggins.

They took the quick money route and it worked for the one chip. But it was not going to Last without having youth

Well only one to blame for that is LeGM. He specifically left rookies off of his coming home letter and went straight for Kevin Love, Mozgov, Shump and J.R. because he wanted that quick championship window. :manny:

Speaking of rookies, I strongly believe Kay Felder should have been on the playoff roster to have some energy on D with the guards. I know he's 5'9 or whatever but he's built like an ox would have been energy and 6 throwaway fouls :manny:

he went to my school tho and he's the homie :yeshrug: :troll: :bronlol:

It's strange where this narrative has come from. Curry isn't a #2 (certainly not his "rightful" position at all), and neither is Durant. Curry led the regular season and the postseason as his team's leading scorer (up until Game 4 of the Finals) and main facilitator. They're pretty much a two-headed monster, where depending on the matchup, scheme and rhythm in a series - one breathes a bit more fire than the other.

The Cavs pretty much centered their defense around Curry (trapping and keeping 2-3 players in his vicinity almost all of the time) and forced the ball out of his hands, Durant just capitalized on that.
its that lazy sports fan/talk radio thinking of their can only be one alpha dog.

Clearly they both were the top dog this series and postseason.
