Lebron is tired, declining and is too old to carry a team like the prime lebron of old, and AD is too inconsistent from game to game. He goes from one extreme to another. In one game he's prime Shaq or Hakeem Olajuwon, the very next game you get deandre jordan and its worrisome because the lakers go as ad goes. He is the backbone of the lakers system on offense and defense(both sides of the ball) so considering the age and mileage of bron and the wild inconsistency of AD, its better for the lakers to win their series in the playoffs quickly. That way , Bron saves energy and effort for the next series and you succeed to prevent another AD's jekyll and hyde bad performance .

its amazing how fast this team can lose a seven or eight point lead they spent so much time building

Lakers have 3-4 guys hitting consistent shots (Bron, AD, DLo, Schröder). GS is just depending on Steph and Klay. Poole supposed to be helping like LA's role players are but, he's been absolute trash.
