they should've gone after nash.

they've been one of the worst offensive teams since they gave the keys to rondo.

Yup and the best offensive teams of all time(aside from the show time lakers) have been anchored by Nash. It's only so good you can be on offense when your floor general is a non threat as a scorer

They're better than C's in December. Lets see what it looks like April.Amare a better rebounder and adds size next to Chandler, which haunt the Knicks defense. Rockets were getting in the paint at will. Just like NJ did against the Knicks. If you cant protect the paint in thhis league, youre not going far and the Celtics will protect the paint a lot better than the Knicks will.

You think Golden State is better than Lakers, too?

Couldn't agree more. It's been a month and a half of basketball and people think the Knicks are legit and the Celtics might not even make the playoffs. We've seen the Knicks go on runs like these, they did last year with Lin, but until they actually do something in the playoffs (make it out of the first round) they aren't worth taking seriously. We're talking regular season, really?

The Celtics weakness right now? Their defense from the sg position. Who is coming back January 2nd to start at shooting guard? AVERY F'N BRADLEY. Probably the best non big defensive player IN THE LEAGUE. Our rebounding needs a little work but we've never been strong rebounding anyways. But the Celtics started off poorly last season and got hot towards the end and made it to the finals. This team is more talented than last year's team. We were running people like Ryan Hollins and Marquis Daniels onto the court off the bench. This year we'll have Sullinger, Bass/Green/Lee/Terry AS OUR SECOND UNIT. :merchant: And you still got another big and Barbosa on the bench who has proven to be a spark plug and will win you a game in the playoffs.

Early in the decision you make this declaration.

Knicks are overated. The backcourt cant defend. If they dont control the tempo of thew game, they're completion at a disadvantage. They shot a lot of threes but lack the offensive rebounding to compliment that style of play. They match up well against a team like Boston who doesnt want to push the tempo and fall right into the Knicks strategy.

Which is why i dont understand the whole Stat to the bench bs. He add rebounding and better spacing, especially when Melo isnt on the floor. That was the thing i noticed most with the Knicks. THey had no spacing when they played us. And that lack of spacing left them in bad position on transition D.

If the three isnt fallin, they're beaten.

Kidd's offense has been better than his defense this year. Thats horrible.

I'd wait til i see Stat in the starting lineup before i make any declaration.

You some type of knick analyst now cuz ur team beat us? Look homie u niccas at full strength, u think harden and Lin would be driving in the lane on us if Shumpert was out there?

fukk no! We missing our best on the ball defender and y'all attacking our weakness. nikka we ain't overrated we got the best record in the east with two starters out .

So if you think Shumpert can come back 100%, then let's give Mr. Derrick Rose that same assumption...

And I love how you want to act like Shumpert will come back and be such a huge x factor but in the same breath acting like Avery Bradley won't be a significant upgrade to the starting lineup and overall defense for the Celtics and push them towards much better days as a team.

In that case, you're 4th in the East, at best.

The Heat and Knicks, right now, are clearly the two best teams in the East. I'm pretty sure that it will stay that way throughout the season (unless Jason Kidd gets injured, which is possible, because he is a key to the Knicks success).

The thing is, Boston can turn it on in the playoffs. There isn't a better coach in the East than Doc Rivers, and that matters A LOT when you can gameplan for the same team five or six or seven times. I think the Knicks would beat them in a playoff series, but I'm definitely not going to be sold on that belief until it actually happens.

I don't see either team beating a healthy Heat squad in a series though.

Nah i think the Knicks are the second best right now, but the Heat are in a standing of their own. and knicks are nowhere near them. This is with understanding of the head2head matchups.

Control the tempo and you have a good chance to beat the knicks.

East Standings
1. Heat

4. rest of EC

I agree the heat r still the better team but we r closest team to them in the east.

The same could be said about every team. If you control the tempo you can win the game.

Yea the C's are looking a bit too :flabbynsick: lately. Might need to file them. What is this, the 3rd time they have lost to the Bucks now? And they have Collins as there starting center too right now :heh:
