You contradicted yourself. An 8 man rotation is a strong bench. Plus Lebron is older and needs a good rotation to stay fresh. Warriors bench is the reason they won against the Cavs the first time. Only the last chip a bench didn't matter in the Finals. Going back two decades the deeper team makes the finals. Even the Boston big 3 had a deep bench, OKC made the finals with a deep bench, all the Spurs winners had a good bench. Only the Heatles and last years Warriors didn't need a bench to win.
What are you talking about? Last season the bench was PARAMOUNT in the Finals. Cleveland and Golden State were basically even when LeBron was playing, but when he went to the bench all hell would break loose.

Ok...So I'm right? Thanks.

First bron had no parts in these trades and now Bron is the GM of the year.:jbhmm:

As long as haters ridiculously blame Lebron for every single move his team's management ever makes, even when it's expressedly against his desires, we can have fun throwing it back on them.

So? The Pistons did when they won. Spurs did all of their years. Bostons did all of their big 3 years, and on and on.

So 25 minus...7-8? What I said still stands.

Wait, what???

Detroit barely even had a bench in 2004. Their #1 minutes guy in the Finals off the bench was 35-year-old Elden Campbell doing 13 minutes/game.

Outside of Manu the Spurs had a shyt bench in 2007. Outside of Horry they barely had a bench in 2005. And in 1999 their rotation only went 7-deep and that 7th guy averaged 1.2ppg.

I dunno if I can say the Celtics had a strong bench in 2008. They had some average pieces, got lucky with a few guys who stepped up in key moments, but it was still a mediocre group.

The main point of a strong bench in the playoffs is to maintain flexibility against different lineups and fill in roles that aren't filled by the starting lineup. But if you have a strong starting lineup that fills all the necessary roles, and at least 1-2 strong bench pieces who can fill in at multiple positions, then you don't necessarily need a great bench.

Bruh swears having a great bench is essential to winning the title when history shows having a solid/great bench is irrelevant.

I wouldn't say, "irrelevant", but you can make it irrelevant with the right starting lineup.

Having a strong bench can be a huge factor if you have older starters who need rest, or certain gaps in your starters' skill set that can be filled in by the right bench pieces.

Golden State's bench has made a real difference the last three years. The Spurs' bench was big in 2014. Chicago's bench in the 1990s won a lot of big games for them. Cleveland not having the right pieces they needed off the bench cost them bad last year. Same thing for the Heat in 2011 (though honestly 2011 could have been different with a couple of the right starters, even without fixing the bench).

Not mad at all at the Cavs return.. I just wonder why Danny Ainge doesn't go all out for that Eastern crown especially when its within reach. Its like he just keeps dipping his big toe in the swimming pool but refuses to jump all the way in.

when that next losing streak comes and provokes yet another existential crisis and more cries from Lebron about needing more help :laff:
Kevin love is his 2nd option how does he not need more help?:what: just because he can make a contender out of spare parts doesnt mean he doesnt need help

Cavs fans :mjlol:

Play like shyt for an entire season, and deflect when people call you out on it.

And then you win one game and it's "We're back! :gladbron:" thereby verifying that you guys were playing like shyt, but wouldn't admit it.

Live in a delusional bubble filtering out any negative criticism, brehs
