Do we REALLY know if Lebron is "driving" this?

Yes. LeBron is the GM of this team. He's the most valuable asset in the NBA who is not an owner and in the past 5 years has:

- Made the owners change the CBA drastically so players can't form "super-teams"

- Changed the revenue share structure (players get more)

- TWICE stopped the entire NBA offseason with speculation of where that asset (his ability) would land.

So yes, he is the one driving it.

Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
Why doesn't Bron want Wiggins, isn't he tired of guarding the opposing teams best player?

19 years old. Isn't proven or ready. The best asset to get an immediate upgrade in the front court.

Lebron is worried about his window. Not the window of the organization.

No one man should have all that power :wow:

Lebron listed waiters in his letter and waiters has been brung up in trade talks.

At this point I don't know who's calling the shots or who's leaking the info. I'm just gonna wait for official word. Either way cavs win and its a great time to be a cavs fan :ahh:

Yea I'm thinking the same thing, if Wiggins was offered in a trade package already then the ball would be rolling on a trade. I think the Cavs realize that there isn't a immediate rush to get Love now and that by the trade deadline, Wolves would have to trade Love or get nothing when he walks in July
that doesn't mean they have to move him anywhere, let alone Cleveland.

anything short of Wiggins wouldn't be better than Love being an expiring contract and that's how Flip has to look at it. Don't hamper your flexibility by taking on shyt you don't want or need just to say you got something.

Historically it's proven to show that a team like Minnesota dealing a Love-caliber player doesn't get shyt back, so why bother?

If not the Cavs, what will suffice from Chicago and Golden State to possible satisfy Saunders?

Starting to think this wiggins for love stuff is just media hype. Cavs said a while ago that wiggins would be with the team for "a long time".

If this trade was gonna happen it would have already been done IMO.
real talk.. these dudes need insurance in case Bron and Love were to leave after two years

You nikkas think LeBron came back to play with a Tristan/Varejao frontcourt and a 19 year old rookie with a suspect J???????

Think, people. Not that hard to see what's going on. All the signs are there in front of your face

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
FYI people.. If Lebron was worried about chasing rings and Jordan's legacy...HE WOULDN'T HAVE GONE BACK TO CLEVELAND. Lebron said that he wanted to be a mentor and help the youngins become champions. He only needs to bring 1 title to Cleveland and he will have just as many as Bird and will own the city forever. I think the fans and media are more fascinated with titles and championships than the players. Most just want to win one. Yeah they all play to win every year but like Lebron said, its bigger than that when it comes to his home town.

He went back to Cleveland before any Love trade talks happened. All he wanted was Miller and Allen. The ONLY flaw with this roster is its youth and inexperience. They have a new coach. Both variables represent an unknown because nobody knows how they will play together. People want Love to go there to give so it will bring a piece of mind to how they cover the team. For some reason Lebron going back isn't compelling enough. They gotta have another star go there as well.. even Though Kyrie Irving is on the SAME level as Kevin Love. It's like they don't care Irving is only 22 an all star and hasn't even reached his potential. Nobody even cares how playing with Lebron could help elevate this game.

As long as Cleveland doesn't feel like they have to make this move then I don't see a trade happening.
