There's no guarantee Wiggins will be great imo. I think he can be great...but I'd gamble on the sure thing (Love) and risk the future. LeBron+Love+Irving can win multiple championships. SA still has 1 run left, MAYBE two. OKC...I just don't see them doing it with Westbrook. Houston...nope. In the east there's the Pacers, but who knows what they'll be next year given the mental implosion they had. Heat aren't going to challenge the Cavs.
This is a nice squad BUT Love and Irving have never even made the playofffs before, ever! Plus Irving has to change his game up and I've yet to see Love play in a big meaningful game in his entire career outside of his UCLA days. Yeah he does his thing in Minny during the regular season but we really don't even know if he has 'ice in his veins' during a deep playoff run with the spotlight and cameras on him. Yeah Bron/Irving/Love has a nice ring to it but at the same time:whoa:

People said the same thing about Bosh. He was a first round exit in a shytty conference. Love's teams won more games then Bosh's teams in a harder conference.

Lebron will elevate's Love and Kyrie's game and turn them into champions like he did Bosh.

I'm not going to high side and act like the Spurs have a bunch of runs left...I was shocked they made it last year and the year before....I thought they were done due to age.

Agreed. It's inevitable that they'll break down within the next 1-3 years, that's just human physiology. I think next year is gonna be big for the Spurs, especially now that Leonard has the torch. I can see them embarrassing the Cavs in the finals...but with Love and some vets (Ray Allen, Mike Miller)? I think the Cavs win with that roster...

I would rather take now than groom Wiggins to take the mantle in 6-7 years. If he stays healthy, LeBron is going to be very dangerous for years. Physically he's just bigger than most dudes, and he's in shape. It reminds me of Shaq in the sense that if he had stayed in shape and dedicated to the game of basketball he could have remained a dominant force through his 30s. But being out of shape led to injuries, and injured halted his career. LeBron doesn't have that problem. I could see a 35-36yo LeBron scoring 20 a night.

So you just think the Wolves are gonna let him walk next season and not trade him before it comes to that?

No doubt they don't want that to happen. But we've seen similar things happen in the past. That said, I'm sure they're at least strongly considering trying to get the best deal possible.

Yeah but Wade already had a ring and Bosh made the post season before with the Raptors.. not even the same scenario breh. This past season was a monster for the West Conference but it hasn't been this deep in years past

Phil supercedes Kurt, stop bringing up old shyt anyway, Love has already stated he's intrigued by the knicks

That was BEFORE they hired Rambis.

Phil's not coaching. Kurt's one of the big reasons why Love hated management so much. He feels like Rambis tried to fukk his career up. He's not trying to reunite with him.

fukk you mean let go of the past? We're in this state now because Love can't let go of the past. He even said so.

Cavs fans and others that say that Wiggins shouldn't be dealt,

If Bulls get Pau or even had managed to get Pau + another key player (obviously not Melo at this point), would you do the trade out of pressure then?

This was really the only year where the Wolves had a playoff caliber team and didn't make it.

Love's first two years he was a 6th man and the star of the team was Al Jefferson. 2010-11 was his first year as the go-to guy and his other starters were Luke Ridnour, Wesley Johnson, Michael Beasley and Darko Milicic, no way in hell you making the playoffs with that team. In 2011-12 the Wolves were in playoff position until Rubio tore his ACL. In 2012-13, Love broke his hand and only played 18 games.

That's why I don't get the whole "Love isn't a winner" narrative. He plays in a stacked conference and he's never really played on playoff caliber teams to begin with outside of this past season.

I'm not saying he's not a winner I just want to see how he does in some meaningful games in the NBA. I have yet to see that. Damon Lillard went nuts for the first time sniffing the playoffs.. now we know. Love is a mystery. Maybe he does help a team like the Cavs go for 'ships but I simply have no clue whatsoever of what he's can do when the lights are bright and the cameras are rolling. He's an all star though, no question about it
