Cavs will be dope offensively but a liability on D. only guy on the team who can actually guard someone is lebron and even he started slacking last year as the miles have gotten on him. varejo used to be good defensively but he's old now, we'll see if he still has it.

I think San Antonio and OKC are still the best teams in basketball. I'll also take a healthy d-rose on the bulls over the current cavs. They should be in the ECF at worst though.

The Cavs will be dangerous long term though, they still have the Haywood contract and could potentially get a player next year that has a $15 million contract.

That is what I am hoping for. The Cavs can use Haywood's contract to acquire a $10 million dollar contract next year or they can use those nonguaranteed contracts they just got from Utah to acquire a $5 million contract this year. The only problem is that the Cavs traded almost all of their assets this offseason. By trading their own first round pick to Boston and now Miami's first round pick to Minnesota, the only tradable asset they really have left is Memphis first round pick. That pick is protected the next two years (they only get it if it is between 5-15) but unprotected after that. I am hoping we can use that pick to pick up a rim protector.

One thing about Dan Gilbert is that he doesn't care about the luxury tax and will spend any amount necessary to win.

It is funny how there are people in this thread claiming that both sides got raped in this deal. The fact is that both the Cavs and Wolves are better off in this trade.
