Phil Jackson actually told Melo, he needs to take a pay cut so he could afford to get anybody in free agency but they didn't......I think they were in panic mode that they might lose Melo so they had to offer him max contract :mjlol:
jose calderon is a major upgrade at point guard for them.

plus between shumpert,JR, and Hardaway jr they have a valuable trade asset to get another piece
dalembart can provide a nice healthy defensive big so they don't have to deal with all those injuries
to be honesy i think they are looking decent enough going forward

Calderon
Shump/hardaway
Melo
Barg/Amare
Dalembart/Kmart

good mixture of scorer and defenders with a playmaker to tie them all together.

trade Jr Smith for a good rotational forward and you got a playoff team in the east.

I'm just saying Love has the kind of game tailor-made for a variety of roles/purposes :manny:

It's gonna be up to Blatt to make this Cavalier nucleus function defensively.

Against other soft non-athletic skilled PF's like Love, Gasol beasted on, consistently.

Is that why over the last 4 seasons that Kevin Love averages 23 pts and 12 rebs a game against Gasol's 19 pts and 12 rebs a game in 6 head to head matchups? Because Gasol has been "beasting" on Love even though the numbers say differently?:sas2:

co-sign. this will go down as one of the dumbest trades in NBA history. who the hell trades the #1 pick in a loaded draft for a fat slow no defense playing PF who never played a playoff game?

this will be the modern day Kobe for Divac trade. in 5 years when Wiggins is the best player in the league, GM LeBron will look dumb.

Not if the Cavs win a Championship:sas1:

That's a fitting screen name after this post. :mjlol:

The Knicks have no shot at being better than the Cavs, Bulls or Wizards going forward.

Pau scoring in the post >>>
I doubt Rose will be a star again, but if he plays at an AS level, Bulls are the best team in the East.
Their bigs will protect the rim and the Cavs will get worked in the paint.
When has the bulls ever worked anyone in the paint?

Lakers fans will tell u gasol is nothing like he was in 2009 ect.

Lol @ him protecting the rim. Bulls dont even have a good 2/3
