Harden was proven. I wasn't excited about harden as I was just excited to finally get a really good playr. I didn't think he would be as good as he has but I knew he was instantly better than anything we had on that roster.. Im that summer was a disaster off of the Lin signing and losing Lowry and dragic. Harden seemed like a consolation prize after that shyt. It wasnt the same feeling I had when traded for Artest or even tmac.
Harden was not proven as a starter, he was coming off an embarrassing performance in the finals and had been a bench player leading up to that. The point is, you got a young player when the alternative would have been sticking with another year of Kevin Martin. The Wolves were set to lose Love for nothing, or get a terrible package from the Celts/Warriors. They got possibly the best asset they could have gotten for Love, and the Wolves fans should be happy, especially when you compare it to what the Pelicans (Hornets), Jazz, Nuggets etc got for their stars.
