So... why couldn't Lebron recruit like this back during the summer of 2010?

Where are all the "he had to leave because nobody wanted to play in cleveland" people now?
Because he was scored for his play that last playoffs and he already knew he was going to Miami the moment he took that Cavs jersey off for the last time

Bennett was fukking :trash: last year so miss me with that shyt. Kwame Brown and the Candi Man were #1 picks too. That doesn't mean shyt. :camby:

wiggins is considered to be the best draft prospect in like a decade. and getting him at age 19 with him on his rookie deal is a very good deal for love who the wolve HAVE to trade anyways cuz he is gonna opt out and everyone knows this.

the fact that the wolves got the cavs to throw in bennett and another 1st rounder is just icing on the cake.

Lakers traded an all-star in Pau, and Lamar when he was fresh off of his best season as a pro and won the Sixth Man award. It wasn't close to a one-sided deal like some try to say.

What long term solution would that have provided for the Hornets? Odom went into depression and started smoking crack after he got traded. The team would've been terrible and they wouldn't have had valuable picks for giving up their best player.

The main ppint is this is as bad or worse than the CP3 trade. If Love was going anywhere but the Cavs, I wouldn't care. Wiggins might not even be as good as Dragic when it's all said and done and he was going to NO in that trade.

if im the wolves, I'd rather take a chance on a potential franchise player in wiggins, than overpay a star who can't even get me in the playoffs 1 time in 6 years.

And the Wolves got some massive haul for Love? :mjlol:

A very raw #1 pick in Wiggins, plus a guy who averaged like 2 ppg and spent half the season in the D-League and a protected first is "top talent and assets?" :playoffs?:

Yes they got a fair trade for Love and obviously no other team could beat the offer. I don't think you understand how much of a difference a team having one majority owner makes.

That so? Better prospect than Durant, Rose or Davis? He wouldn't have been the #1 pick if Embiid didn't get injured. fukk outta here with this nonsense. :camby:

It's the principle first and foremost. Gilbert cried to the league about the CP3 trade and said it wasn't fair so it got vetoed. The Cavs miraculously get 3 out of 4 number one overall picks after LeBron leaves, then when he comes back, they deal two of them for Love. How the fukk is the league not gonna look rigged when that happens? We will NEVER see a turn of events like this again in professional sports.

I mean does it not seem a bit sketch that the CP3 was the ONLY big trade vetoed. It's bullshyt. Dan Gilbert was one of the main ppl crying that we formed a super team..now look. Dude fraudulently gets 3 #1 picks and now has a super team. It's too transparent

.

Lol that was proved false last year..people who saw him in hs warned people when he was struggling that he is not a bron or even Durant level prospect and people need to lower expectations and that he's ceiling is more Paul George

He wasn't even gonna be the 1st pick till the embiid injury

Here's my question. The reports say Love will opt out after the 2015 season, then immediately re-sign with the Cavs for a max deal. How is that any different than the "under the table" deal the Wolves pulled with Joe Smith years ago that completely fukked the Timbies? Is it because the Cavs are making their intentions public?
