Let's remember how Lomachenko got that belt. Loma was supposed to fight Haney because Haney was the mandatory & interim champ. Loma didn't want that fight & requested to be franchise champion. Haney was elevated (we are not sure if he asked, petitioned by himself or others).Now the WBC said that the belt is not transferable yet Teo got that belt when he beat Loma, which doesn't make sense.

You now have a situation where there's a dispute because the WBC world champion is obligated to face mandatories while the guy who beat the guy, who beat the guy does not. Hence a disputed champion. The man who wins a possible fight between Haney & Kambosos will be undisputed.

Honestly this confusion is down to the WBC. They said that the franchise belt isn't transferred from one fighter to another yet let Lopez walk around with it. Now Kambosos is parring it.
