Well, word on twitter is that the game is VERY Sniper friendly early. Sounds like snipers get a big advantage over everyone else until you start unlocking new weapons. Looks like head glitching with a sniper rifle will be the way to go. 
Ghost at level 55...sounds like its gonna be a true rushers perk this time around with the sniper madness and: UAV spam will be in full effect. Prestiging will be, as usual, a waste. Some saying its like half a game until you get to level 55, busting ass to get all the perks/attachments. Why would anyone want to prestige? What's the benefit? I've never seen the point, except for them lame try-hards that LOVE to brag about being maxed out. shyts stupid.

Let's say you have 3 perks attached to your gun and you prestige...when you get to that level of getting that gun again you automatically have all the perks you had on it before.
Also, your challenges and stuff don't reset when you prestige anymore, they just add more challenges.
There is also the option to reset everything each time you prestige.
