Well, what do you expect? America is pretty much the white man's wakanda. He's always going to be the standard and the paragon. Black people are pretty much permanent guests here as far as the social hierarchy goes.
If there were people who knew their fate was wrong during slavery, you have no excuse in today’s world. You can’t depend on the white establishment to raise your kids. If you don’t instill in them pride for their Black heritage, no one will.

I grew up in the hood though…east side Long Beach, CA…insane crip territory…seen drive bys, shootings, all that shyt. Got family in insane and rollin 20 crips…grew up on 7th and orange, 10th and Stanley…so you’re wrong. I saw some of the most egregious examples of subconscious c00nery growing up in the hood.
It's an exception to every rule. The avg person that grew up around black people focus ain't c00ns

Funny enough I think the people,who,want to be accepted into the black community the most are people like OP. This dude isn't accepted into the mainstream black community offline and I'd bet anything on that. Black people posting stuff like this aren't generally accepted because we all know for real for real this isn't what the average regular working black person even speaks on. Its a very small group of blacks that speak on this stuff and its mainly online and mainly dudes seen as lames, nerds, etc offline too.
I do agree the so called c00ns aren't looking for mainstream black acceptance but mainstream white acceptance though.

Just because someone grew up in the hood don't mean they grew up in the hood if you catch my drift. Dude was super likely to be one of those dudes that grew up in the hood but never came outside. Go around his old hood nikkas similar in age don't even know this dude. Fam ain't fooling me. Like you said the average black person esp in the hood aren't speaking about c00ns like nikkas on here do to show you how down they are. This is online overcompensating 101 for these dudes.

My aim was more aimed towards the social programming we are subjected to as children which then follows us throughout our lives. Stronger parenting is key, but this type of programming is far reaching. Regardless of parenting, how influential is media on a young person's life? Your parents tell you one thing, but if you are constantly seeing things to the contrary in other spheres of influence, that can confuse a young person. Hell, it confuses adults.
Yeah but my point is that if Nat Turner was able to tell that the social order was incorrect to the point that he took action how does anyone else have an excuse? If you’re a parent you just have to be cognizant of what your kids are consuming and make sure you are reinforcing Black empowerment. Like my son had some homework that talked about how great George Washington was, we had a talk. I told him “George Washington would have owned us if we were alive at that time…is that a good man?”. We won’t be able to save everyone but we are not stuck to a fate of c00ning.

So the fuk what. IF that’s the case. That shows that as a black person in a predominantly white neighborhood that he didn’t let the white way of thinking infiltrate his mind-he didn’t fall apart and adopt their culture- which is even more interesting of how he was able to retain his value as a black Person. Besides that, he didn’t dictate where he grew up; that’s on his parents or whoever raised him.
