Ron wasn't trying to box though, it only appeared that way because she lacks the technique to close distance for the take down...

Can't take a boxer down right away if you lack the technique to catch them...

Ron did what she knows best, bull rush for the take down and pray you don't get lit up...

She got lit up...
She tried to strike with Holly like an idiot. Saw it wasn't working, and then went back to what she knew. Too late. Got styled on and had her chain snatched.

According to a report by Dave Meltzer at MMAFighting.com, UFC 193: Rousey vs. Holm is expected to have topped more than one million pay-per-view buys. The event was headlined by former women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey against current champion Holly Holm. Holm knocked out Rousey in the second round to capture the title in a stunning upset.

The event was held at the Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia and drew a reported record-breaking attendance of 56,214 fans. According to industry estimates, the PPV event drew between 1 million and 1.1 million buys. This would put UFC 193 as one of the biggest UFC PPV events in history. Before Ronda Rousey came into the UFC, no combat sports PPV event headlined by a woman ever topped 125,000 buys.

As a privately owned company, the UFC does not release its official PPV figures for its events. UFC 194 is also expected to pull a big PPV buyrate. Based on industry tracking, UFC 194 could end up being the second-biggest UFC PPV buyrate in the company’s history.

With the number, UFC 194 topped the previous PPV card headlined by Rousey, UFC 190. The main event featured Rousey defending her title against Bethe Correia, and Rousey won by knockout just over 30 seconds into the first round. The event drew between a reported 800,000 and 900,000 buys.

The UFC is hoping to book Rousey and Holm in a rematch later next year. The target date for the fight is UFC 200, which is set for July 9, 2016

She didn't try anything, she chased holly around and ran into left hands

lmao at this notion that she tried to strike with her lmao all she did was get beat up lmao

she coudn't do anything, her grappling game had zero effect, she was out grappled by holly so she had no choice but to stand and get beat up

She was not trying to box Holly Holm, should was trying to get in range to clench with her, which she managed to do only a few times because Holly moved around the cage and forced her to chase her

when she managed to get her in clench, she failed and her supreme grappling skills were useless, except she did managed to score 1 take down which amounted to nothing, as holly easily defended the armbar, which was her only chance of winning

The smiley is how I'm looking at you for suggesting Ronda was trying to prove that she could strike with holly, she couldn't take her down so she had no choice but to stand with her, because holly stayed away from her for the most part and led her into left hands

Ronda did exactly that for the 1st half of the 1st round but okay. You have your opinion.

I ain't about to break out tapes of a fight that happened a month ago to go back and forth with you when you can get plenty of my impressions through this thread. Merry Xmas, be blessed.

You are a moron

Holly Holm used her footwork to keep ronda out a distance and when Ronda would try to close in she would lead her into her left

Ronda didn't try to stand up with her, Holly Holm didn't allow her to get close and stayed away from her pretty much the entire fight

She was definitely trying to strike with Holly for most of the first round and wasn't strong enough to keep her grips during the clenches..u know better than that...lol.

The whole fight is still on page 72...

She came forward trying to lunge and punch at Holly Str8 up...And she looked very foolish in round 2 with that swinging hook that Holly ducked with ease.

And you're just a kid..you're not telling me on how to watch anything. You definitely didn't interpret the fight the right way.
