She got exposed, but I put this on her trainers more than anything. bytch showed no patience. Was getting bopped repeatedly and kept coming forward like she was a zombie or some shyt. Didn't play to any of her strengths. She ain't even attempt a real take down. Yeah she lost. But her people failed her miserably.

holly's legs/kickboxing is her strength

rhonda wasn't about to try and close that gap by takedown


she's been doing the same thing every time... bull rush of bullshyt flurries.. which leads to you being overwelmed and knocked out or primed for the takedown


once it was established, no, you're not coming close to me..... she fell completely apart... she never had a jab/standup defense... that brazil almos had her rocking before that stupid backflip shyt... meesha was standing up with her no problem

but an actual other champion? in your worst field of fighting (standup).... nah that walking through the punches shyt wasn't about to work and i think any takedowns would have resulted in a few knees to the dome or a tyson uppercut

Ronda's never been really tested as her fights were so short, no one pushed her cardio. Well tonight she's been exposed as her takedowns were not only nullified, but she also got thrown as well, and her boxing was that of a 6-month beginner (in comparison to Holms). A first-time viewer would never have guessed Rousey was the champ. Ronda's camp made the folly of assuming her boxing was strong enough to hang with Holms to clinch and go for the takedown/armbar and failed miserably. She was even desperate enough to go for a standing armbar which only works in Steven Seagal movies...

In any case, you need both elements of standup and groundwork to pull off the MMA game, Ronda hasn't been a life-long striker and started rather late in the game for it, Holms didn't, therein goes Ronda's advantage. Holms gave Rousey that work in with the hands, kicks, and even a throw too...

Hopefully this derails the hypetrain for Rousey as she's been an obnoxious representative for the UFC imo....

Edit - Oh, fukk Rousey for hitting Holms AFTER the bell rang at the end of the 1st round, disrespect is something I can't stand in professional sports. Props to Holms for being a good champ and still shaking hands after laying a Bane-level beatdown...
