I figured Ronda was gonna get cute and try to stand with Holly, and if that didn't work she'd go for the takedown. Edmond had her believing her boxing was elite. But props to Holly for stuffing takedowns and getting out of submission attempts.. Holly's footwork was great, and the octagon is huge, allowing her to stay out of range. Holly looked like Cro Cop in his prime out there. Straight left hands all day had Ronda's nose swelling shut and had her swallowing her own blood, gassed. And finish the fight with that left high kick.

In the rematch Ronda is not even gonna try to stand with her. She'll try to get the clinch for the takedown. But again, Holly has such good footwork and space to operate, it may very well be a repeat performance.

I agree, but you have to admit though, boxing is at least 5X more legit. The size and quality of talent isn't comparable, and you can easily cover your shortcomings in MMA (because of all the mix of disciplines) in a way you can't in boxing.
