holly came into the ufc with alot hype behind her. her last 2 fights have been disappointing and the hype just died down quickly. there's a saying, "you're only as good as your last fight". holly hasn't looked so good while rhonda has been stretching bytches out left and right. most people don't even respect her boxing background
but im riding with her in this one.Holly by ud (uspet pick of the night)
JJ by ko (i think she will have the best performance of the night)

Predictions for the main card
Rosholt vs Struve- This opening shows you how good this show is. Rosholt is an elite wrestler. But he has no serious striking. He may still tag Struve and get him down. But I just see Struve locking on a sub off his back in the 2nd round
Hall vs Whitaker- Toss up fight. Hall is athletic, flashy and has dangerous power. Whitaker has probably the best boxing at 185. Hall still hasn't shown me hes consistent enough. He was losing that Moose fight handidly before the miracle flash KO. I think Whitaker takes the UD
Hunt vs Big Foot- This all depends on whos in shape. Weight ins should be interesting. Hunt has looked horrible his last few fights. Apparently he was having bad weight cuts like his old Pride days and thats why he was getting starched against Stipe. Big Foot looked healthy against Poleli after looking like his skin was going to fall off in previous fights. At the end tho, I don't think Big Foot chin will hold up like last fight(when his testosterone was through the roof) Hunt KO RD 1
Joanna vs Letourneau- Only chance Valerie has is on the feet. We all know JJ is a killer there. Valerie is a solid fighter but shes just not on JJ level. Shes tough and will hang in there for a while, but JJ finishes her with the TKO RD 3
RR vs Holm- This fight will go longer then most expect and will probably be a shyt fight. Holm will come in with a great gameplan and frustrate Ronda early. I honestly expect her to use Condit/Guida's strategy against Diaz/Maynard and use as much movement as possible to keep the distance. She will not slug like the others did with Ronda because they think they can hurt her when she bullrushes in. The thing tho is Holm just really doesn't have any power to stop Ronda. Her striking is mainly use to outwork you instead of dealing damage. I would say her kicks are better then her boxing but Ronda won't allow her the proper range to get them off. She is strong and has good TDD. Holm also has a chin and can take a beating so I doubt Ronda will KO her. I think we will see 3 or 4 ugly rounds of Holm throwing volume combos(half of them missing) while Ronda chases her around landing the most sig strikes(and winning) Eventually she will drag Holm down and submit her.

I just watched that weigh-in and Holly Holm was sounding like she had been drinking whiskey right before getting on the scales and Rousey looked/behaved like she had just got done snorting coke. Rousey looked really drained compared to past fights.
Ronda seemed shocked that Holly matched her aggressiveness without screaming and yelling at her

she always look like that at the weigh ins, Holm ain't small, she fought at 145 in boxing
they both gotta cut a lot of weight because Dana didn't bring 145 division for women to hide Rhonda from cyborg
now that the IV ban is in the UFC it will be interesting to see how she hydrates back up in weight tomorrow
