Hollywood made a movie about J. Edgar Hoover. Though it did disclose his flaws, they still told that miserable fukk's story.

Why haven't they told Huey Newton's story? A true film from the perspective of the Black Panthers. Mario Van Peebles tried back in the day but, I mean a bigger budget.

Van Peeble's Black Panther was good. The guy (Rae Chong Dawn's brother) who portrayed Newton did a excellent job, from what I can remember.

You know damn well whitey can't handle some black pride film. Forget about a Marcus Garvey, George Washington Carver, Bob Marley, Miles Davis, Haile Selassie, etc bioepic. Unless we distribute it ourselves, or make them out to be caricatures, then it's slim to none. Unless its a made-for-tv-movie, or some shyt like that. But that's right, we don't own ANY television stations no more.

Actor Henry Lennix (Get On The Bus, The Matrix Reloaded) took a huge shyt on this movie after reading the script.. dude called the movie 'historical porn' LOL..

Dude watched him mom get raped, then told his dad to step up. Dad said no. Kid was like oh you p*ssy. You c00n. Just like y'all.

With one "hey", he got his brains blown out. And his mom went nutty

How many more white people you standing up to after seeing that at 6?

And still he put his kids through college, supported his wife and never cheated. Owned his home. Told presidents to their face about black issues and stood up to that white guy to get them equal pay.

How was his job any different than being a waiter at IHOP? I don't want to hear their opinion either. Bring me my pancakes nikka. But he did voice his, which would cost him his White House job, and still put in work and supported his family

They didn't make the panthers look like thugs. Panthers had one scene in the whole movie. shyt they had the son standing up with the sit ins and the bus ride and got himself fukked up every time. Which goes back to the dad saying don't fukk with these white people

So where exactly was the fukked up part? Where was the c00ning? That was history. That's what happened. Where's the made up falsehoods?

That being said we do need more figures in black America to be portrayed in movies. Seems like we get the same 5 figures every time. Martin, Malcolm, Mandela, Douglas in bit parts of space movies, and throw some other random in there
