My son is really into dinosaurs and has a ton of dinosaur books. None of them mention brontosaurus. Any large sauropod mentioned is usually apatosaurus. Open and shut case if you ask me. Scientist lies about discovery, scientific investigation uncovers said lie, science makes correction.

A guy thought he discovered a new species of dinosaur and named it Brontosaurus because he wanted to get famous from his discovery. But it turns out it was just an already discovered species called Apatosaurus. Now the terms are just used interchangeably by people whose only education in regards to dinosaurs is Jurassic Park....well fuk me sideways i must not have gotten the note on the brontosaurus.
