The Brink is the worst show HBO has made in a long time.

If youre going to do political satire the writing has to be razor sharp.

This show feels like it was written by someone who makes adam sandler films. The writing is just awful.

I guess. I watched most of the second ep, I liked it better than the first. Tim Robbins was killing it. I think the tone isn't even attempting to be serious which is kinda different than the usual political commentary. I'm definitely going to watch the entire season.

It's entertaining to me but I think Jack Black is funny. Plot is a little ridiculous but has a good cast and some good fukkery. Jack's character has potential to be king fukkery in that show.

Make a show called The Brink at a moment in history when NATO and Russia are literally on "the brink" of World War III brehs.

only seen the 1st ep and it was pretty good to me :manny:.....waaaaaaaaaay better than that show enlightened that they had a couple years ago

I thought Enlightened 1st and 2nd seasons were very good, it just ended shyttily.

As for the Brink, making a political comedy is always tricky. I think the show needs at least 1/2 a season to find it's groove, let's not act like Veep was brilliant out the gate. Not saying the show is gonna make it but I need 5 episodes at least to see where it was going and actually Jack Black and Tim Robbins have been highlights.

Jack Black needs to sign an exclusive contract to only work with Richard Linklater. I have idea what the fukk he's doing lately.
