I really liked the opening with Monty going to get his cowboy boots cleaned and Eleanor trying to step to him, but he had to let her know he had the tool on deck on some :usure:.

Might have been the end of marble mouthed Linder. He couldn't let Capt. Robles go, I understand the rationale his character had but he could have been chilling with bad ass Ava :noah:. The scene with him going to the police station with the rock in his hand and leaving the message was :bryan:

My man Fausto is too smart for the Marines :win:. Him and his chief goon make a nice duo.

The conspiracy is so deep that even if Eleanor or Fausto are out of the picture, the drug trade will keep trucking along thanks to the CIA.

The ending was wonderful.:mjcry:

They are really setting up the story lines for next season.

I might watch the Swedish version of the Bridge in the mean time. :lupe:

Eleanor's scene in the finale. :demonic:

Yeah, hopefully we get another season. The ratings for this season has been :flabbynsick:status though. FX is one of the few networks that is willing to renew low rated shows with positive word of mouth and critical acclaim. Still even amongst critics and TV heads, this show tends to be slept on. Just like at the responses in this thread compared to some other shows. The 1st season had some rocky moments with the David Tate storyline, but overall was very solid. The 2nd season was an improvement over the 1st.

I really liked the Eleanor Knox character, she is definitely one of the most memorable characters on TV this year for me. The image of her having her dad chained up by the oak tree was most def :merchant:. They did a solid job with painting out the parallels between her and Sonya, both having rough up-bringings but taking different paths. Same with Marco and Fausto, Fausto was another memorable character this year. Really enjoyed the work by the actor and we finally got to see him remove the baseball cap :pachaha:

Linder still being alive was kinda suspect :lupe:, but his story seems to be done and he can go off and make babies with Ava :ahh:

The finale did focus a lot on tying up all the loose threads, but I understand given the situation the show is in. It's not in that upper echelon of quality shows airing right now, but is very still good with some great performances. I hope it sees a season 3.

no thread? :dahell:

season 2 starts tonight...who else is ready to :eat:

season 1 was one of the weirdest opening seasons ive ever seen. i dont think ive ever seen a show start so promising, fall completely off the rails and then recover like this show did. not to mention season 1 ended with like 2 episodes to go and they basically just started season 2.

hopefully they move away from hastings, that was by far the weakest part of the show and start getting into all the political themes that are available.
