No shyt.. the entire plan is to hold AMC between Monday and thursday.. this has always been the plan
to wait for their options to expire, which expire next week
its been discussed in detail in here already
GME is in a unique situation because the shorts on that stock doesnt seem to have an end date (not sure how thats possible, but Hedge funds obviously have different set of rules than us as far as options go). So people can run that up until the hedge funds are forced to sell their shorts which will only help in spiking the cost of the stock up as well. The hedge funds will either bleed out a slower death or can pay a premium for a band aid. If that makes sense. They cornered themselves into a corner on gamestop.
AMC we know the shorts end next week between Monday and Thursday so thats why it should spike up next week. The losses for the hedge funds wont be as high as gamestop because they didnt short it as much but it will be in the billions and its inevitable.
AMC is different then Gamestop in a way that AMC is a tangible and could be profitable business long term. They cleared all their past debt, this was AFTER they raised $900 million to stay afloat 2 weeks ago or so. Vaccines rolling out quick and theatres should be making crazy money by Summer but probably Spring in some states. So rather you sell this week or not, its still a good stock to hold.
