I like the idea of all the niche divisions being on one show with the IC Championship being the top belt

You might as well just keep two World Titles if that's the case. What would be the reason of having the IC on Smackdown? A fixed main event picture? That already exists on both shows.

The WWE has never booked tag-team wrestling well. Bruce Prichard went on record saying Vince McMahon has never cared for tag-team wrestling. Putting tag-team wrestling on its own brand won't change that. Just because you have a growing demographic, it doesn't mean it will translate to massive viewership. I think the women should have their own show on the Network like 205 Live though. Also, "rabid fanbases" don't translate to television ratings, otherwise NXT would be on USA in some capacity too. NXT is never even the #1 watched show on the Network, which should tell you something.

Again, no major networks would be willing to put a show on a primetime slot without any of the major stars. For this idea to work, they'd have to put Rollins, Reigns, Ambrose, AJ Styles, Randy Orton or Braun Strowman in a tag-team. And even if they do that, why would those guys be excited about that idea?

Ronda Rousey is the biggest story in WWE right now. The Women are a year away from main eventing Wrestlemania. The biggest fight last year was between two 5'8 guys at 145 pounds. The biggest star WWE has created in a decade was a 5'10 200 pound Daniel Bryan and many believe Johnny Gargano to be that next Daniel Bryan.

And you think there wouldn't be any takers for 52 weeks of WWE programming? Cable companies are desperate to fill programming but they'll pass on Smackdown. Right.

You're misguided in thinking there aren't any stars outside of the traditional male heavyweights.

ETA: Smackdown was a taped show that nobody appeared on prior to the brand split and a major network still paid for it. Cruiserweights, Women, and Tag Wrestling wouldn't tank Smackdown.

Raw is a fukking soap opera.

Smackdown is not nearly as dramatic, still has a bigger emphasis on wrestling.

:dahell:

Smackdown for the past 7 months has been about these two's drama. Wrestling is literally in the background of it.

RAW a week prior had a 2 hour gauntlet match. What the fukk are you watching?

Like I said, cola sodas and your ass can't tell the difference.

Some great ideas OP . If booked correctly, a guy like Balor wouldn't look like a chump or a demotion by moving to CW status.
