If Mazzulla turns out to be a bust this is gonna look even crazier.

While I support this, there is a good chance of Ime taking an L by taking on a task no one can handle.

There's is a chance that perhaps Nash was not as trash as it appears to be, but that he was working with difficult people and dysfunctional management.
Or perhaps he was trash and those things still hold

Anything short of a finals appearance is a bust to you?

I wouldn't say that necessarily. Depends on the circumstances but if it looks like they've taken even a small step backwards from last season then the Udoka decision is gonna look especially tough.

They already look worse defensively but it's too early to call, especially with Rob Williams out.

oh, it was KD and Kyrie who made Nash terrible at making in game adjustments? Timely substitutions? Terrible lineups?

Did I say this? I said he couldve been trash while the rest being true too. However, certain people say he was just weak and strong armed by said players in fear of his jokes. This is the pro-player era.

I’m not staying anything I believe just possible risks for Ime - scenario analysis, you should try it.

My personal beliefs is that he was weak as a leader, perhaps not trash, but a weak dude who might’ve needed to build some confidence and shyt in the wnba, high school or something.

But no comment on them having the #1 offense in the league to start the season?

If the team does take a "small step backwards", why are you automatically ruling Mazzulla responsible for that? What ownership do you place on the players, and what about other teams naturally getting better?

And let's not act like the Celtics weren't one of the best teams in their conference for years before Udoka came on board.

Mazzulla has been at the Celtics since 2019 (years before Udoka arrived), is one of the smartest young minds in the game, has been an integral part in aiding the development of all on that squad, and establishing the culture that they have now.
