Celtics owner said investigation was started in July and the result was the suspension. The only thing Celtics announced was multiple violations of team rules.

NO HE DIDNT...

HE SAID THE INVESTIGATION
STARTED IN "THE SUMMER"

THE SUMMER ENDED 3 DAYS AGO...

THIS BROAD WAS STILL WORKING
UNDER IME IN SEPTEMBER
SETTING UP NIAS MOVE TO BOSTON.

SHAMS SAID THE CELTICS
FOUND OUT IN JULY
AND WERE TOLD IT WAS CONSENSUAL...
SHAMS ALSO SAID THE INVESTIGATION BEGAN RECENTLY.

Boston handled this poorly. Depending on the severity of the facts (once all the info is released), I wouldn't be surprised if their best players demand a trade.

Lots of ingenious dense arguments being made and it’s showing this site full of media cronies

Training camp starts this week and the season less than a month, there’s literally nothing they could do to avoid the discourse. My GUESS is suspension instead of firing is due to contractual language and a settlement is coming
Ime is not the first nor will be the last person who have slept with someone that they work with. The timing of the matter sucks but the public doesn't need to know all this info. Only Nia, the staffer and Ime himself should know the real reason why he is not coaching anymore. Unless there was use of company resources for other things or he was doing more diabolical shyt, this story has become way overblown.

The organization might be getting threatened with lawsuits and the release of vids and pictures, we don’t know everything

But to your point, this is the crux of the matter. This is on Boston.
If what he did is so egregious, fire him and explain why. No one would argue and this would be a five page thread.

If it isn't then stop drip dripping bullshyt, that causes people to speculate.

Boston has no excuse for this. They have squads of lawyers and PR experts on deck. This was done, from what I can see, to damage Ime's career as much as possible. I would like to know why.

Yes he fukked up, but there are precedents for this, and the way he has been treated is far removed from the precedent.

Nowhere in my initial post did I say anything about whether Ime's suspension was deserved or not or whether Boston handled it right or not.

Again, y'all need to learn to read to comprehend instead of reading to respond.

Some major drama came into the organization and they had no other choice but to react. They could have sweep this under the rug if only the impacted parties knew what was going on.

Gotta be an abortion somewhere in there for people to be so somber
:childplease: Nobody gives a shyt about some bytch's abortion.

This is about money and embarrassment to the franchise.

Somebody getting sued, who exactly we don't know.

They probably knew about his affair, told him to cut that shyt out and he kept going on with it, so that is where the embarrassment comes from since it is public now.

This Boston team was serious contenders to win it all this year. It's not the fact that Udoka is gone, but if his offense doesn't justify the punishment, I can see players on Boston wanting out. Especially if Joe Mazzulla doesn't pan out.

If Boston had fired him and said it was for violating their code of conduct or said he took a leave of absence for a personal matter and left, I don't think this story would have been as big as it is currently.

So it still goes to your point. If Boston handled this right this would have been out of the news cycle by now.

For real. The more they hold back the more the expectation will be for the fukkery levels. If that shyt don't deliver people will be like "that's it?" and there drops the views and clicks. But I guess they're winning now by dragging it out also.

THIS. it’s also why I hate the way the Celtics handled it.

So far this shyt is light. :unimpressed:

I'll just copy and paste what I said in the Timberwolves thread. Same situation here.

"Basketball Communications manages basketball media relations and institutes and enforces media policy and procedures for the leagues and the teams while overseeing media operations for all major events."
So she's on the road at least 41 nights a year. But obviously it's more than that, just due to the nature of NBA schedules.
Probably closer to 100 nights a year, she's not just on the road, she's:
Eating at a fancy restaurant (comped)
Staying in a fancy hotel (comped)
Flying first class (comped)
Spending the night in a dream environment, basically getting 6 figures to watch a game.
And then there's home games.
Late hours, glamorous, fast paced lifestyle.
Then she comes home to sweatpants and dirty dishes.
Same with the GM.
I mean, yes they got caught, but think about HOW and WHERE they got caught.
In a luxury suite at a soccer game that they probably "had" to be at for work.
Their working life is like one, big date.
Call it what you want to call it, but the husband of the wife is at fault here.
He didn't just let her off the leash, he fukking relied on her income from living in the fast lane with powerful people.
What the fukk did he think would happen.
People are only human.
I love my wife, I love my family.
You get me a table at a nice restaurant tonight, and a bottle of wine, then set me up in a suite next door to some chick?
Nothings gonna happen.
Ok, now you ask me to do that again tomorrow?
Nothing's gonna happen.
You ask me to do that shyt every other night for 2 years?
What the fukk do you think is going to happen.
Who this hapoen to in Minnesota ?
