I don't understand what would be worth a year suspension but not a sacking in the context of an inappropriate relationship. No way.

Last year to the Wolves with Rosas and they fired him. Though apparently he wasn’t much liked there so it was easier.
You’re right he should get his own lawyer, but he is probably staying for two reasons
1. They are probably still paying him most if not all his salary.
2. If he has a shadow’s chance in hell of getting another head coaching job he better not ruffle any more feathers. Especially with the harassment claims.
Initially I thought this was just an affair, if it’s an harassment case he is going to be seen as toxic as an employee. He will need to show that he at least stood by the Celtics as they figure this all out. That way when this becomes old news he might be hired by a team based on credentials. Though depending on what the full story is that might not even be doable.

What a shytshow across the board. From the executive thot wife, to Ime forgetting he's just another nikka in Boston, to the Celtics mismanaging everything like Isaiah's hip and Timelord's knee. They gave zero cover to the women working there and they got drug into it, this happened a few months ago with Vince McMahon and that random black woman the internet said he was banging out
There's some legal reason why they only suspended him now. The women not involved but the internet forced into the convo are still on staff, it will never be a comfortable working environment if they're still there and he's brought back.
He's coached his last game there or they bring him back and women like Feaster leave which is probably a bigger blow to the Celtics than the consensual sex that got them here in the first place. If he's harassed somebody then he's coached his last game in the league.
Either way it's gonna be a long time before another nikka coaches in Boston again. Best believe they'll use this to paint a picture of black head coach candidates and not just in the NBA but across other sports. Look how long it took for the damn NBA to get more than 1 black coach at the same time.

NBA Franchises/Sports teams are CHEAP. Just because they spending millions on player/coaches salaries, doesnt mean they penny pinch everywhere else..They cheap with team employee salaries unless youre C-suite/director status, and hand off most gigs/job to third party services.

He could demand a trade. Especially if the Celtics fall off and/or he wants to lead his own team. Bill Simmons, who’s clicked in with the Celtics FO, has hinted that he may leave.

It would be after he gets his max extension just like everyone else these days. It’s too much money at stake with the 5th year option and teams will still trade for you even with a supermax as Rudy showed.
