Nonsense. They don’t have a point guard but also that’s compounded when all your offense is between 2 guys. Zingis would alleviate some pressure

Boston has 3 all defense players AND jayson Tatum, yet still couldn’t stop Jimmy butler. So might as well add some offense. They desperately need to get out of the ‘Marcus smart is our 3rd option’ business

Common denominator between Boston and GS: role players with a loud, large presence on their team giving them a bigger role than they should have

Marcus smart 35 minutes a game, initiating potential game tying shots.

Smart: 35 mpg, 33% from 3, 6 attempts/gm
Brogdon: 28 mpg, 53% from 3, 6 attempts/gm

No reason at all smart should be playing more than Brogdon and shooting the same amount of shots. Brogdon is flat out better ….but Smart gets emotionally fueled minutes and touches

He is KILLING them. I’ve seen this before and it even happens playin at the Y. You got the old head/OG/loud mouth that actually isn’t that good but teammates scared to check him. As long as Smart is in Boston he’s gonna get minutes and touches he should not be getting. It would be addition by subtraction

So KP shoots 40% on spot up 3s, kills defenses when he attacks closes out, can now post up with efficiency, and he’s a good defender. Health will always be a concern but he just had his best season of his career. This could be his prime.

Miami basically left Horford alone in the perimeter and let Bam roam around. If Horford makes open 3s or if he was able to take advantage of the space he had, Boston likely makes the Finals. This would be a great trade for Boston.
