Kota got injured I forgot at what event vs Okada. Think it was 2021 G1 final. After that her had some incident with the company executives and I think was released or quit. Haven't heard anything about him lately.
His contract is up at the end of the month, and he definitely leaving to research mermaid zombies in his institution.

I got a good question

Are wrestle kingdom events better in this new age? Or was it a bigger deal back in the day?

I only started watching these when Nakamura took on AJ

It was better pre-covid due to the fact that it was when a lot of the american IWC started to put eyes on the product thanks to that Omega/Okada rivalry, Bullet Club, Nakamura, Tanahashi, and other factors. COVID pretty much killed off most of New Japan's momentum but this Wrestle Kingdom event should be the beginning to getting back to that previous point
