I don't think this will be as good as the New Edition Story, but it should be an interesting watch nonetheless..

I feel like there is a lot out there already on him because of Whitney so I don't expect for too much shocking stuff to be revealed.

It has enough material but it seems like you can't tell this story without new edition so I wonder how this works as a separate story not sure it will flow right which is a big part of making a good movie imo.
