:to: You are very right about that, damn I forgot about that shyt, my shyt was a dog during the summer, it's a rocket now tho

I got the bike for the summer anyway

Yea, rowing through the gears and carving up corners in cold, winter air was :noah: in the Z. The 335 definitely doesn't handle or brake as well.

Just got my car back after a walnut blast of the intake valves. What a difference! highly recommend it for those who are above 35k and haven't done it yet.

You should get a catch can so you never have to get it done again

How much did they hit u for........
400 bucks even.

Gonna need u to educate me on this one tho. How does an oil catch can solve the issue of direct injection creating carbon build up on valves? I thought all DI engines had this issue and by nature it's unavoidable am I wrong?

Regular engines spray gas onto the intake valves and keep them clean. DI engines spray it inside the combustion chamber. The engine circulates gunk back into the intake manifold to maintain crankcase pressure and deal with emissions shyt. A catch can collects all that shyt before it gets to the intake manifold and thus from caking onto your valves....

Def a worthy purchase.........

Did some research on it and I'm finding mixed results from all euro manufacturers across the board. There are some Benz and Audi guys on forums saying that it does not work and there will still be significant build up on the valves regardless of the catch can. I've read some guys on N54 tech saying that it SHOULD work but no one came forward with proven results.

Not too sure :patrice:

Quick question for the brehs....I been having issues with leaking antifreeze fluid and got it fixed by replacing some hoses and the resevoir cap but now im experiencing same leak issue. I isolated it to a crack in the seal of the reservoir bottle. I've heard stories about expanding hoses and leaks on these vehicles but was wondering if you ever had any coolant leaking. The dealer wants $147 for just the bottle but I found online for like $65 +shipping and gonna change myself.

That's what I've read regarding Audi's as well. Honestly it's not a lot of money to just have them cleaned every 20k. Also how many miles are you realistically going to own the car for anyways?
