In case y'all don’t know the story behind this

While promoting this fight, Ernie Terrell kept calling Ali “Cassius Clay”. When Ali asked him why he wasn’t calling him Muhammed Ali, Terrell said “I met you as Cassius Clay and I’ll leave you as Cassius Clay.” Ali then said “It takes a real Uncle Tom negro to keep calling me by my slave name” which pissed off Terrell and they almost fought right there. Ali said a knockout was too good for him and he would torture Terrell the whole fight. Which he did for 15 rounds
