Finally got to see all the big fights this weekend.
Frampton did what I expected him to do which was win decisively. Quigg pretty much gave away the 1st half of the fight. shyt reminded me of Taylor/Hopkins. One nikka lets the other guy carry everything up until the 8th rd and then he decides to take over. Fight really heated up for the last 3 rounds, but that was about it. I still think Frampton is about 50/50 against Rigo and LSC. Quigg was effective during his moments, but froze (maybe due to the broken jaw) during most of the fight. Wouldn't mind a rematch, down the road. They both respected each other too much.
Huck surprised me. He actually looked decent and not as crude as he normally is. He had Ofolobi missing punches in shyt. That eye though. I guess he can say he's sorta back. now. Cruiserweights still be having entertaining scraps.
#FelixFederation looked good to me. He fought a guy that didn't want to win, but didn't want to lose either. So he had to just give him steady work over the course of the fight. Nothing spectacular about the performance but I don't get all the hate he's catching for it. Defense looked improved and all his shots and general movement were on point. Can't ko everybody, and he boxed accordingly.
Crawford beat Lundy's ass like I expected him too, and got him out of there quicker than I thought he would. He looked like shyt in that 1st round though. Lundy gets credit for being competitive, but once that punch landed and the size/strength difference was made known, it was a wrap after that. Wish Crawford steps it up next time opponent wise.
Leo Santa Cruz fought like he was possessed. Dude was like Margarito on steroids. So many punches, so much pressure. shyt was crazy. Kiko seemed like he got the beats from 2 nikkas at once.
Good weekend of fights.
