@webuyblack 17-year-old Mikayla Sharrieff, India Skinner and Bria Snell are finalists in NASA’s high school competition. These young women developed a method to purify lead-contaminated water in school drinking fountains. They are the only all Black team to make it this far. The winner will be selected by a panel of NASA judges this month. Each winning team will receive an invitation to NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center for workshops with scientists and astronauts. They will also receive $4,000. Congratulations to these young Queens on their success thus far.
