I don't think so. From what I've read he was in the wrong and people sided with Booker. At the time Dave was letting his push go to his head.

He spoke about it in his book, and just regretted that it happened. Never made a claim on winning. Think Booker's story is true, personally. Oddly enough, Finlay said Dave got the better of it but he's the only one.

That was his mistake, and I think it was definitely a case of him underestimating me, and thinking he was the bigger guy. For me fighting is in the blood, and it’s something I grew up doing.
