its just a straight up broken method too.

the only final fantasy on that list is 9, starcraft ain't even in the top 100, quake is only on the list (over doom at that) because of its undying multiplayer community's commitment, genre defining stuff - that was even appropriately recognized at the time - is just wildly unappreciated in this format as well. sf/mk, civ, pokemon, RE, sims/sim city, minecraft, etc and so on

there's game that people don't even fukk with that they'll recognize as hugely important and milestone level shyt. metacritic *should* highlight that considering its purpose and what goes into the process. instead it does the exact opposite
