People hyping that old promo up because most folks don't hate Roman now, they just need a loophole so they don't have to admit they just went along with what a few neckbeards felt. Outside of his moveset, Roman isn't bad in his current role.

He’s lost enough to where the super push complaint holds no weight. There’s no reason to hate the man at this point in time other than the fact that he’s not Daniel Bryan. But even then we got him back on the other show so there’s no competition. He’s a solid worker, has the look, decent enough on the mic.

One thing that sticks out for me tho'...

This promo would be great with someone who could deliver it. But instead, it's still basic emotionless Roman.

If anything his delivery has gotten somewhat better since then.

i swear the day after Lesnar beat Goldberg everyone instantly started complaining on how this is all a long term plan to have Roman beat Lesnar

for a full on year everyone was 100% convinced Roman was gonna win. Complaining about it being the most predictable shyt, saying Vince was a homo Vince will do anything for Roman. shyt was a forgone conclusion where people acted like Shinsuke vs AJ was the real main event smh

Reigns just need a new theme song. Some loud ass rap n rock song that drowns out da booing n chants......like when they gave Kurt Angle that new theme when he was in ECWWE

A lot of the time Roman fills a role that's very clever on WWE's part, which is that of the Heel to the Neckbeards/Smarks. They started experimenting with this role with some John Cena stuff but with Roman they've actually done a great job if you think about it. I'm talking about shyt like for example:

1. Making it seem like Roman is going to become champ, only for Seth Rollins to cash in during the match.

2. Making it seem like Roman might win the Royal Rumble, just for Randy to win it one year and the same thing next year except with Nakamura

I doubt pairing up Reigns with The Usos would help much. Roman just doesn't have that natural charisma that Jimmy and Jey have and I say that as one of the biggest Roman Reigns fans here.
