The whole vibe of the Harley show is... off. Like, it wants to be hyperviolent and irreverent or whatever, but it always comes off like a kid's show where they make the comedy violence into blood and gore but didn't change enough else about the format. Harley comes off like someone who takes none of this seriously. Which wouldn't be so strange if everyone around her seemed to actually give a shyt about the situation, but every scene leads to every other character going to her level instead. So it comes off farcical? Like, no one is taking anything seriously, even when people are dying.
It's a juxtaposition issue. If only Harley is like, it stands out. If anyone is like that, it washes out. Robin shouldn't be on a bootleg Wendy Williams show making jokes and talking about becoming someone's nemesis... least of all Damien fukking Wayne. Dude was literally raised to be an assassin, and then becomes Robin. These two things should imply a complete aversion to publicity, right?
Also, Cuoco can fukk off
Even if they didn't want to go Arleen Sorkin/Tara Strong... they coulda fukking done better than that woman.
