I would go with Dru Hill. But the heir to the N.E. crown should've been TROOP but they didn't stick around long enough all they needed to do was get that one album with a super producer and that woulda been it.

Yeah Boyz 2 men have the overall sales numbers, but what made New edition so special was the run they had, how many black male rnb groups have 4 solid albums wit num1 hits or bangers?

Eventually wit all these groups after album number 3 they either break out or the quality level jus goes down. Joyce aren't touching jodeci 's 3 album run. I don't even think they are touching jagged edge' s. Go back and take a look at 112's 3rd album, Str8 heat.

TROOP was pretty underrated group :ehh:

TROOP was the few groups who can compete with NE dance wise
