Kanyes verse goes unnoticed because Ross blacked the fukk out, but his verse was good
When I say I think it's underrated I mean I think it's indisputably one of the greatest verses in hip hop history.
Never heard a storytelling as immersive, cinematic and emotionally vivid as it, genius writing.
I can practically feel Kanye,self-absorbed, tipsy, clicking his tongue and swishing a drink in his glass while the camera pans on him in a ambivalently lit restaurant with sarcasm dripping off of his tongue and a piercing glare in his eyes looking up and down as he awkwardly laughs trying to break the silence between the two while finally speaking on the thought's he was ruminating over........."Haven't said a word, haven't said a word to me this evening......"
God and when he mocks what he "lack of culture "
This Tumblr perfectly describes my feeling on it aside from the Ross part:
(You can ignore the feminist messaging if you so choose, I don't see it as one sided as her)
God it's fukking genius
