Yeah, if you’ve ever worked in a kitchen before this is really dope. Perfectly encapsulates that environment. Three episodes in and highly approve

Dope to see Matty Matheson featured

It grabbed my attention because I was a cook. A lot of shows romanticize the restaurant industry. I’m happy to see something grounded.

Broooo this is essentially Lip all grown up running a relatively shytty Chicago diner/restaurant. Very unique main cast of characters that all looked like they work at that bytch forreal.

the only gripe I have with this show, is they try to portray the restaurant in a gritty area, when that is the total opposite of where it is.

it is essentially a blue collar sandwich joint in a very upscale neighborhood. it's been there for years, but that one thing is NOT authentic at all.

that said, I'm looking forward to season 2, cuz I'm sure they got more stories to tell.

Episode 7 is one of the most intense episodes of tv I've seen.
  1. Hell nah. she Gon fukk up the orders, stab somebody and then quit? I woulda put my foot in her ass. And that goofy with the donuts
Yeah, both were on some bullshyt.

He told her the dish wasn't ready, she kept pushing, he said soon, she gave it to someone anyway that turned out to be a reviewer that talked about it in the newspaper, hyping up a dish that wasn't on the menu. So everyone's checking the restaurant for this dish on the first day they're on Uber Eats, Doordash, etc., and her dumbass leaves the pre-order option on, then gets upset when Carm is irritated because they've got hundreds of orders to fulfill at the beginning of the day. And Richie is an absolute piece of shyt, but to bring up his daughter and then threaten him with a knife :gucci:

The baker's dumbass gets mad and leaves because Carm tells him to do his job and make cakes instead of donuts:dahell:
