But to be honest even if you cant afford Atlantis, you can stay at Comfort Suites (across the road from Atlantis main entrance) and they give you ALL access to all of Atlantis amenities.

But if you want a serene Island empty and beaches to yourself. Go to one of the "out islands" or "family islands" as we locals call them.

its been like 4 years since ive been but just sitting here thinking about stuff looking at old pictures and I realized how overrated Nassau, Bahamas was.

I stayed at the Riu next to Atlantis and I was at the Atlantis all the time so I got to see that place and yes it is sick with the casino and water parks but it gets old fast. In Nassau its small and only has a few clubs and overall the ocean water was clear but too rough to enjoy. We explored the downtown in like an hour and besides that there isnt much to see.

I had a fun time and some decent partying but staying for 3-4 days TOPS is the only way. not to mention it costs way to much for what it offers. for being so close it should be half the price

I much rather save money and do trips to countries off the grid for 2-3 weeks now instead of weekend trips only 3 hours away(from me)

Stayed at the Riu as well and thought it was overrated if it wasnt for the all inclusive drinks that trip wouldve been a bust for me

All the clubs are in one huge area really. Go to shows at Coco Bongo look it up they do a good job for entertainment. All the typical water sports. Take a trip to Market 28 which is outside of the tourist zone where i saw cops with machine guns in the back of pick up trucks

Do a day trip to isla murales. Its a sick small island like 45 minutes from cancun by boat with snorkling and restuarnts.

I docked in Nassau for about a day ....This was about 6-7 years ago......It was kind of wack, but I was on a cruise w/ some family. I'd probably want to hit up Cuba since I got family there.

Been to Nassau and to Freeport on different trips. I thought both were dope spots, had historic tours of both and saw some ill behind the scenes spots in Nassau.

When I was out there in '04 shyt was bananas.

Copped practcially a half a zone of some real good smoke for like $15, jet skiing, drunk as fukk staring at sharks and what not, fly shorties all in the pool morning, noon & night ......

I had fun.

Same experience here...goood times. I'd go back, but this is a big planet...

Curacao, Aruba and Grand Turk are all better spots. Aruba is corporate as fukk but the scene is better, girls dtf everywhere and good shopping right by the docks.
